Ubigreen and Ubigarden

I think that designing tools that encourage change in the environment like these ones should definitely be non-intrusive (and hopefully not annoying) tools. I like the concept of the system doing actions favorable to the goals does represent a good aspect, as you can see the progression up until today. However, if you just have the app for fun, I can see it discouraging and annoying.

I would actually like to see other types of system applications like these other than the environment. However, I do see that walking data, etc. is easy to collect in an automated way.
